Mikoshi held once every 12 years ~ April 14, 2008 Ikuta Festival ~
The Ikuta Festival of Ikuta Shrine, the tutelary deity of Kobe, is an important traditional event that is said to have continued for 1,800 years.
It is customary for shrine parishioners from the 12 districts of Kobe City to be in charge of carrying out the omikoshi at the festival.
This is the first time since 1994, the year before the earthquake.
I don't know if I can carry it next time in 12 years! ?
(Probably wearing it ... ^^;)
So, I was the manager of Omatsuri no Mikoto, who has been in high spirits for more than a month.
The day before, my voice was already hoarse due to over-practice.
This is a report on the day of the festival, which I wanted with such enthusiasm.
