I went to UAE Dubai
Hello. This is staff Lee.
The other day, about two months ago, I went to Dubai for four days and one night in connection with the " Halal Kobe beef " that we sell. This is the bullet!
It was my first trip to the UAE, and I decided to travel to Dubai on the same day. Emirates, it was my first time, but in economy it is very normal compared to other planes (I had a gorgeous image without permission)
First day
Arrive in the morning. There was a rental wi-fi shop ( Wi4Go ) at the airport for 50 AED (about 1500 yen) a day, which was helpful. Dubai in February, the temperature is quite cool in the morning. I came to the biggest destination, ESMA (Standards Promotion Agency) of the UAE government. And get Halal certificate & trophy from UAE government. With this, it is now possible to export Halal Kobe Beef to the UAE in the future . (Please contact us if you are interested! )

After that, I went around various places in Dubai. Taxis are said to be cheap and safe, so I actively used them on the first day. It's a meter type, and the first ride is 5 AED! (About 150 yen) The only taxis I took were Toyota. The scenery from the windshield looks like a lie.
People from various countries work in Dubai, and taxi drivers are no exception. Most of the restaurant workers were foreigners. There were various ways to communicate in English.
Anyway, the trip was decided on the day, so I haven't booked a hotel yet. However, I did a quick search on Expedia and booked the Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek, which was extremely cheap on the day. I think the Internet is amazing again. Even if you are in a foreign country, as long as you have an internet connection, you won't be afraid! A gorgeous 5-star hotel with such a low price... I felt like I was out of place, but I felt like a celebrity.
After that, dinner at Japanese restaurant TOMO ( FACEBOOK page ). It is a super gorgeous restaurant that uses the entire top floor of a pyramid-shaped building. It was a wonderful experience. By the way, this is the only place I met Japanese people in Dubai this time. . . The photo is the view from the terrace. You can even see fireworks. I thought that TOMO would be a great choice for Japanese people to choose Japanese food when traveling to Dubai.
the 2nd day
The next day, I went to visit the local supermarket. Except for haram (= non-halal) pork and alcohol, they have everything. The butcher corner looks like this. There was a great selection of items, including rare birds and rabbits. Beef is from India, Australia, and local. There is no marbled meat like Kobe beef...
And after all, isn't this what you can't miss if you're on a bullet tour? The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world. (→ Wikipedia )
It's natural that there are many tourists, but everyone was with friends and family, and it was hard for me to climb alone... It's like the loneliness of riding a Disney attraction alone. I endured it and waited for the sunset, but it was beautifully hidden by the clouds near the horizon ^ ^;
It might be best to look up at tall buildings from the side. But it was good to climb as an experience. (I didn't meet a single Japanese person during my two-hour stay here. Where are you all?)
Burj Khalifa is adjacent to Dubai Mall , the world's largest shopping mall. I didn't know if he was a UAE citizen, but the Arabs dressed in white national costumes! A family was shopping with a large amount of brand-name shopping bags on an electric cart. There was also an Armani cafe. The surroundings are 360 degrees, full of luxury brands, and it's a completely different world for me.
Then head to Mall of the Emirates. This mall is famous for having a ski resort. This is also a must-see! I went. Well, it really is... There is a ski resort on the 1st to 5th floors of the mall. It is said that it is quite authentic and it is about -10 degrees inside. In Dubai, where the temperature reaches 50 degrees in midsummer, the scale of things to do is different.
I tried to eat my last dinner in the mall, which is unique to Dubai, but the food court is basically foreign owned, so I couldn't eat so-called local food.
On the way home, the flight leaves at 3:00 am, this is painful. . . There is only one flight per day from Dubai Kansai International Airport at this time. The pressure of being out if I overslept was quite a bit.
With Emirates Airlines, you can use WiFi even in the sky by paying 1 dollar, but it is useless over China. China is big and I can't use it for a long time... but it was very convenient.
