We offer Halal Kobe Beef course dishes at Tsuki Usagi, now accepting reservations!
As of January 2016, one year has passed since we started selling Halal Kobe beef. The most frequently asked question is, "Are there any restaurants where you can eat?" There are many tourists who mistakenly think it is a restaurant and come to the store.
Currently, there are few Halal restaurants in Kobe
Tatsuya is a butcher shop only, not a restaurant. In addition, there are almost no halal restaurants other than Indian and Turkish cuisines in the Motomachi/Sannomiya area, so unfortunately, I answered "there are none".
However, the other day, when I received an inquiry saying, "I have a Muslim customer from overseas who wants to eat Halal Kobe beef, so I would like you to introduce me to a restaurant." When I consulted Mr. Konishi, the owner of the Sannomiya restaurant " Nenchu Mansairoku Tsukiusagi ", which I often visit, he happily replied, "Let's try it!" I am going to provide it.

“Tsukiusagi” is Halal-friendly for the first time
"Tsuki Usagi" is in a great location within a 5-minute walk from Sannomiya Station and Motomachi Station. So I told Mr. Konishi what I learned about halal food in the past year. Based on the idea of disclosure, we asked them to come up with a course meal centered on Halal Kobe beef.
Halal soy sauce from Igagoe
New frying pans and knives are also available.
The customers this time were a Malaysian Muslim who is in charge of traveling to Japan at a travel agency in Singapore, his boss (non-Muslim), and a Japanese guide. Halal is a matter of course for those who learn about it, but Halal is not just for Muslims. Even non-Muslims can eat it without any problem. (Ingredients are often examined and disclosed, so there is an opinion that it is safer to eat.)

Tempura also uses vegetable oil

Contents of this menu
The menu was also created in English in a hurry
This is the first time that this course is halal-friendly, so the lunch course that we usually offer is halal-friendly, and the main dish of Kobe beef is added. It was 10,000 yen per person with a charter offer. There is a possibility of change from the next time, but we will post the contents below as a reference.
- Organic vegetable salad (lemon juice, salt, pepper, olive oil)
- Yuba (white: cherry salt, black: sesame dressing)
- Firefly squid and wasabi greens dressed with halal soy sauce (katsuobushi)
- Sashimi (boiled sea bream, seared Spanish mackerel, tuna, sweet shrimp)
- Tofu (clams soup and wakame seaweed)
- Tempura (udon, taranome, Nagoyafugu)
Tentsuyu: Halal soy sauce and sugar - Halal Kobe beef dice steak and steamed vegetables
- Rice / Garlic rice using Kobe beef fat
- Recommended sea bream soup
- Dessert (Strawberry)
I was delighted!
With Mr. Konishi, the owner
Tatsuya I, who is in charge of halal, also joined.
I explained the ingredients used each time I served a dish so that you could enjoy it with peace of mind. It seems that you were very satisfied with the result. At that time, the store was decorated with fresh cherry blossoms, but since they had already come to Japan after the cherry blossom season had ended, they were delighted to be able to see the cherry blossoms in the store. The following comments were posted on Facebook.

We offer Halal Kobe Beef course dishes at Tsuki Usagi, now accepting reservations!
Well, now that we have a track record of halal support, and we have obtained Mr. Konishi's approval, we will make an official announcement.
If you have a request to eat dishes using "Halal Kobe beef", Sannomiya "Tsuki Usagi" would like to accept reservations only during lunchtime in principle.
For the time being, I would like to ask about your requests and budget and set the contents of the course meal, and I would like to do it with a handmade feeling.
Please note the following points.
- "Tsuki Usagi" is not halal certified by a certification organization.
The restaurant usually serves sake and pork dishes, but tableware and cooking utensils are managed separately, and in principle, reservations are made for the whole daytime. - The Kobe beef used is Halal certified by Islamic Center Japan. It is also possible to hand over a halal slaughter certificate.
- We are also planning to prepare a space and carpet for worship.
"Tsuki Usagi" has only one store on the 8th floor, which is the top floor of the building. I think. - Please make a reservation at least 2 days in advance.
- Cancellation is not possible from the day before.
For the time being, we will accept inquiries and reservations at Tatsuya.
It was a pity that there were no places to eat Halal Kobe beef in Kobe, but thanks to the cooperation of "Tsukiusagi", now Muslims can finally enjoy Kobe beef, which makes me really happy. think.
From now on, Muslims should eat Kobe beef here! Tatsuya would like to cooperate fully so that it will be established, so Tatsuya will handle inquiries, reservations, coordination, etc. Please contact Tatsuya first!
